Windsor CT site is Amazon finalist

Months ago Amazon announced it would be looking for at least one distribution center in New England. Recent news reports confirm that an 80+ acre site on Day Hill Road in Windsor CT is one of the sites Amazon has under final consideration. Amazon is considering constructing a 1.5 million square foot facility that could bring up to 300 jobs to the area.

Dollar Tree, Inc. recently completed construction of its new DC near Bradley Airport. Combine this with recent new facilities and/or expansions for Walgreens, TireRack and Home Goods, and it is clear that northern CT and Bradley International Airport is becoming a preferred location for retail distribution in New England.
