SBS opens first US plant in East Windsor

Steel Building Systems International (SBS), have purchased 18 Craftsman Road, East Windsor, CT for $4.75M.  The 279,000 SF industrial facility will be the first North American production plant of the Australian-based building technology company. 150 new jobs are expected to be created when the plant opens next spring.  Seller STR Holdings, Inc., will sign a short-term lease to remain in the building while renovations to their headquarters at 1699 King Street, Enfield are complete.
