Manufacturing coming back to the US. How about New England?

Mark Duclos

Don’t look now but there is more and more data suggesting that manufacturing is returning to the United States. Now, before you jump up and down too much, no it’s not coming back in droves. However, it is coming back! Below find two recent articles in the Wall Street Journal talking about the recent shift (actually not too recent – it’s been happening for a few years now). Even our very own Otis Elevator is moving jobs back…to South Carolina that is. Kind of makes you ask the question…Has New England made itself competitive enough to reap the benefits?

Keep smiling!

Mark
