Luxury apartments, museums, retail and more in development proposal for East Hartford’s Founders Plaza

According to the Hartford Business Journal, developers pursuing a large mixed-use project at the East Hartford, Founders Plaza office park have “secured” the rights to the vacant office building at 99 Founders Plaza as well as 300 East River Drive. The project would total approximately 30 acres and include museums, luxury apartments, retail and medical office. Per the article, “East Hartford officials also anticipate building a new pedestrian bridge over the Connecticut River, creating a 1.3-mile walking loop that connects the new Port Eastside amenities to existing cultural and recreation assets just across the river in Hartford.”
