Hartford Courant to Close CT HQ
The Hartford Courant will shut down its offices at 285 Broad Street, Hartford as of December 27th due to pandemic and economic concerns. The newspaper will stay in business with some employees working remotely while 151 printing plant employees will be laid off as the Courant will outsource its printing to the Springfield Republican in MA. The status of the 193,568 SF office facility is unknown at this time.
