CT House of Reps Passes Bill to Change State Environmental Law

The CT House of Representatives has unanimously passed Bill HB-7001, sending the bill on to the Senate.  The bill calls for revisions to the Transfer Act and authorizes the development and implementation of a Released-Based remediation program.  The devil is in the details and this has a long ways to go but this is a major step toward a more balanced approach to environmental regulation in the State of CT.
