Since 2014, the nonprofit implemented an extremely successful universal system, making veterans homelessness a functional 0, and decreasing chronic homelessness in the Greater Hartford region by 90%.
Journey Home continues to explore new ways to raise funding – expanding their event schedule drastically! The REC Hartford is honored to be hosting their next event, Pub Night.

Join Sentry Commercial’s Director, Curt Gemme and Lexington Partners LLC Vice President, Kevin Kenny as they tour the redevelopment taking place at the historic Pratt Street Retail District. You’ll also get an exclusive look at the newly renovated 99 Pratt Street Apartments.
Kenny’s father, Martin J. Kenny of Lexington Partners LLC completed renovations alongside landlord Shelbourne Global Solutions and LAZ Parking CEO Alan Lazowski.
The $59 million redevelopment project will give the area a refreshing rebrand, full of new apartments, retailers, restaurants and revamped historic hot spots.

CREW CT at The REC Hartford
CREW CT joined together at The REC Hartford for part 1 of an interactive, three-part Professional Development workshop, hosted by CREW CT and presented by the experts of Latimer Group. “It was great to have CREW host its meeting with us at The Rec Hartford,” commented Curt Gemme, Director at Sentry Commercial and The Rec.
In Part 1, participants learned how to further their communication and collaboration skills in the virtual, professional world that is ever-growing. A special thank you to all participants, it was a great turnout.
