Amazon Planning Expansions Across CT

According to the Hartford Courant, e-commerce giant Amazon has purchased 90 Old Sherman Turnpike, Danbury. The 147,000 SF former Scholastic Book facility will serve as a fulfillment center and bring up to 400 new jobs to the area.  The company is also in the planning stages of acquiring an 83,000 SF facility on South Cherry Street in Wallingford as well as building a new multi-million dollar distribution center on Kennedy Road in Windsor.
