85K SF Industrial Sale in Bloomfield CT

Zurich-based industrial power/technology conglomerate ABB Inc. has purchased 45 Griffin Road South, Bloomfield to establish a product development center in North America.  The 85,390 SF high-tech manufacturing facility on 9.25 acres was sold by Lanakam, LLC for $3.17M.   Lanakam, LLC built the facility in 1986 for Power Systems, Inc.  PSI was subsequently sold and relocated and the property was leased to JDS Uniphase/Lumentum from 1989 through early 2018.  The building was expanded from 60,000 square feet to its present 84,000 square feet in 2000.
